Rhodium‑plated / gold‑plated copper and 925 sterling‑silver jewellery feature a precious‑metal finish over a copper base or solid sterling‑silver body.
Plated finishes may gradually wear over time from regular skin contact. Continuous exposure to sweat, water, perfumes and cosmetic chemicals can cause tarnishing on both plated surfaces and 925 silver.
To help preserve the appearance of your pieces, please follow these care guidelines:

Always remove your jewellery before sleeping to avoid friction against skin and fabrics.
Keep your jewellery dry at all times. Should it become wet, immediately pat dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.
Avoid direct contact with harsh substances including chlorine, nail‑polish remover, soap and perfume; these may deteriorate the plated finish and speed up silver tarnishing.
Take off your jewellery before strenuous exercise to limit prolonged contact with sweat.
Store each item individually inside its own small pouch or sealed plastic bag. This reduces surface scratches, abrasion to the thin plated layer, and slows tarnishing for 925 sterling‑silver pieces.
